FOR NIAGARA FALLS CITY COUNCIL
Voice • Service • Opportunity. Together, we can build a stronger, healthier, and more prosperous Niagara Falls where residents feel heard, seen, and included.
Meet Lilian
MY STORY
I’m Lilian Lum Mbah—a Niagara Falls resident, entrepreneur, community leader, wife and mother. My journey has taken me across different countries, cultures and communities, but one thing has remained constant: my commitment to serving people.
For almost a decade, I have worked in senior care and community-based services. As the founder of Divine Favour Homecare, I have had the privilege of working closely with seniors, families, caregivers and people with disabilities. This work has taken me beyond offices and boardrooms and into the everyday realities of people’s lives.
I have seen the pressures families face when caring for loved ones, the impact of loneliness and isolation, the challenges of navigating support systems, and the difference it makes when someone simply listens, shows up and helps.
I am also an entrepreneur who understands what it takes to build a business, create opportunities and keep going through challenges. These experiences have shaped how I see leadership: listen to people, understand the problem, bring people together and GET THINGS DONE.
Why I Am Running
- To bring a strong, practical and compassionate voice to City Council.
- To make sure residents feel heard, seen and included.
- To turn community concerns into action through partnerships.
- To help build a stronger, healthier and more prosperous Niagara Falls.
Community Leadership
For me, community leadership is not a title—it is about showing up, serving and taking action. I believe strongly in meeting people where they are, especially seniors, families, youth and vulnerable members of our community.

Organized members of the community to volunteer at its St. Catharines location.
